Optical Microscopy
An optical microscope, also referred to as a light microscope, uses one or more lenses in combination with visible light to magnify images of small samples. These lenses are positioned between the sample and the observer’s eye, enlarging the image for detailed examination.
How It Works
- An objective lens magnifies the object
- An eyepiece further magnifies the image
- User can observe the magnified image with their naked eye
